Skagway and Glacier Park

R making himself at home on Main Street, Skagway.

Out for a drive from the past.

I look like a frontiersman myself.
Inside one of the Saloons.

After a nice walk around town, about 30 minutes, we head back "home".
Leave Skagway, 20:42

Entering Glacier Bay 5:50 a.m. Wednesday.

The "dirty" frontal areas of some of the glaciers.

View from the Library and computer area, next to the Explortions Cafe, that served hot chocolate.

Bits of ice that had fallen off glaciers.

The blues of the new ice in the little crevices are beautiful.

Beautiful colored water.  Reminded me of the lakes around Lake Louise in Canada.
View from our room.
Glaciers had names like Lamplugh, Johns Hopkins, Margerie, Grand Pacific.
