We're here at Michel's to celebrate May's birthday, with Pat and Les, who's here from Tokyo. Six p.m. and still light and almost too bright. |
May's favorite Escargots. Very tender and the sauce is delicous. |
Their Lobster Bisque is well known, but I like their Onion Soup. |
The sun already is setting at 6:40 p.m.. |
Tableside preparations. |
Pat's lobsters. |
Les' Seafood cooked in parchment. |
R, May and I had the Filet Mignon au Poivre, which I always order because it is so tender and the sauce is delicious. |
The ocean is dark now, but the waves are rough. The trade wind is so cool and soothing. |
Birthday girl with her dessert. Sorbet and Chocolate lava cake. |
R and I shared the Tropical Chocolate Profiteroles. Puffs filled with Swiss Chocolate, Coconut Creme Anglaise and Caramel. Yum. |
Always happy at Michel's. R and I had to hurry to pick up Penny at Pets in the City before they close. |
The chopstick rest we got to take home from Rokkaku the other day. I'm still not sure what that green thing is on it's head, but it looks like a cabbage head. Could be a crown? |
Pudgie at the Vet's examination room. He's been picking his feathers lately, but is okay now. |
Penny in a drying frenzy after her bath yesterday. |
