Manoa

M and I must've had a slight cold the past couple of days so we just rested, but Sunday we took a drive to Manoa Valley and saw a full rainbow, end to end.

As so often happens in Manoa,  the sun was up but a fine rain was  falling, like in the words from the Hapa Haole song Lovely Hula Hands: "drifting like a veil over the mountains".

Wish I could capture the effect of the misty rain, but I would definitely need more skill and maybe a real camera, not only my iphone6+, although it does a good job as a whole.
Then we stopped at Tokoname in the Manoa SC for supper.
M tried the Dragon Roll (avocado, unagi with tobiko) with our Vegetable Tempura and Hamachi, Maguro and Ikura Nigiri Sushi.
Of course, we shared the Tempura Ice Cream!

Wondering where Penny is?
We debated whether to go to a place that allows dogs or go to Tokoname and somehow she got dropped off at Aloha Dog for a couple of hours.
Happily it's open on Sundays, though only until 6 pm.
