   Louis Zamperini died Wednesday at 97, of pneumonia.   He was honored on the USS Missouri in  March 2011 where we heard him tell his amazing life stories.


Track star and participant in the 1930's Berlin Olympics.  A flier in WW II and survivor on a life raft in the Pacific for 47 days.  A Japanese prisoner of war for 2 years.  Olympic Torch carrier in the 1998 Nagano Olympics.
An amazing man whose story is told in the the book and an upcoming movie "Unbroken".
