Sweets

Linda and I had a very pleasant time the other day , the highlight of which was lunch at Mariposa.  Under the twirling ceiling fans, we started with the usual popovers and consommé that they serve.
She had the delicious Ahi Sandwich and I tried the Quinoa pasta, with Chicken Sausage gluten free plate.

Dessert always brings a big smile.   My Lilikoi Pudding cake with the signature butterfly cookie was good and Linda's Mochi Waffle (chewy) and ice cream with cherries looked and tasted great.

Speaking of sweets, this Charbonnel et Walker confection from the Neiman Marcus chocolate section is just wonderful.  Called Strawberry White Thins , it's on the sweet side since it's white chocolate,  but subtly so, and the strawberries are nice and soft.
This brand's boxes are very sturdy and pretty and some are whimsical.

Penny and her favorite toy, which she has made soft by removing all the stuffing.
