Happy July 4th. This and that

Happy Birthday America!

Great country, great state, great food, great friends.
Love the Mizithra pasta.  This time I tried the garlic, bacon and mushroom version.  Wonderful because it remained dry without any oily sauce.

We'll be back, Spaghetti Factory,  for more of the Ravioli and Mizithra pasta.  The bartender's Cosmopolitan and Martini are spot on!

Entertainment at the outdoor stage at the Ala Moana Mall.

Brug's Bakery (from Hokkaido, Japan) which used to be in the old Shirokiya, has it's own store in the mall.  Their Yume bread is "awesome".  Hot toast with butter and a good jam with breakfast coffee is so good.

Uncle's at Pier 38 reopened with additional space and a bathroom.

Their sushi bowl.
(Wish the sushi rice was better)

My usual fish and chips.  It came out crunchy and very hot.  Not beer batter but good anyway.  Uncle's uses Opakapaka. Uncle's special also comes with shrimp and calamari.

Must try the new restaurant Harbor pier 38 which opened recently over Nico's next door,  but will wait a bit.
