Naginata, Iyo Udon

Naginata today.
Sensei is always beautifully dignified.
We are practicing every week for the demonstration at Byodoin in August.
We have been doing demonstrations here for so many years.
From last year, they expanded the program to include koto and bon dancing, among others.

It's a pleasure because it's outdoors and the scenery is beautiful, with the temple gong ringing (by visitors) in the background.

New Restaurant at the Mall
Its specialty is the wheat noodle Udon, rather than Soba, the buckwheat noodle.

Considering its location (not in the Makai Market food court, or Shirokiya's food court), it was surprising that it has a cafeteria style setup.

The beef and egg udon, with green onion and  ginger add ons.  There are also sides of tempura, chicken, rice balls.  I like that there was iced green tea at the fountain.
