Maui no ka oi. Mama's.

Of course there is Mama's.  Sitting in a little cove, full of touches that are sophisticatedly beautiful but convey a feeling of old Hawaii.
Nothing seems to have changed - wonderful atmosphere, great service and delicious food.

Entering from the parking
you see their beautiful
cove

The way in

One of the dining areas

I always seem to take photos
of their bathroom.

Red ginger everywhere.
Snipping off the top 2/3rds of the flower changes its look.

Our table where we had
a view of the cove.

Menu.   There are many
other choices, but this is their fresh fish selection.

Great starters!

Crispy rolls of mahimahi
(I think it was? Drinks weren't that strong)

Whole Onaga.  Crispy on
the outside, tender and
fresh everywhere else.

My Ahi caught by Alan
Cadiz.   Doesn't need anything to
enhance it!

Interesting way to arrange
anthuriums, a flower I can
never do justice to.

A brief walk around the beach
after lunch.

How could I forget the dessert.
Their famous Black Pearl.
