Good food day

                                           Michinoku
                                With Gma, P, M, R and me.
P's favorite Hamachi no Kama, hamachi cheeks.   He orders it wherever he goes and likes it here best.

Grandma's favorite, salmon set

We took our car to Yajima's Service Station to get gas and got window washing service, like in Tokyo.  I remember the attendants used to greet and see off customers bowing, like in Sushi restaurants, and even guide your car out into the street.

We ended up at Chez Kenzo and chatted with Steve.
The ahi Carpaccio.

Ham (prosciutto) and cheese.   Steve laughingly wondered why the hole in the plate (other than making it look like a palette).

Tried the pork chop salad instead of the shabu salad.  Both are great.  (This had pesto dressing)
Then picked up Penny at Aloha Dog.
