Graffiti, Uta Matsuri XVII

Drove by this building and never noticed this graffiti before!

Passed by again later and could hardly see it because cars were parked in front.


The 2014 Uta Matsuri XVII
Uta Matsuri, begun in 1993, is an activity of the Pearl City High School Music Performing Arts Learning Center.   The band consists of students along with professionals and experienced musicians, from several area high schools.  They play Japanese enka music, sung by very experienced adults and students, with dancers from the Hanayagi Mitsusumi Dance Studio.

No picture taking was allowed.  We sat with Janie and Isao and after the program went to the stage to give our congratulatons to Aolani, Tevita and Craig Sensei.
