David's Melodians

Yesterday's Uta Matsuri's band was live and big.  It was a treat to hear live music and such great singing and the sounds are still playing in my head.
This photo is of R's dad and his band, David's Melodians, that he had started before going into business,  and which played for Hilo High dances, among other places.  He's the very youthful conductor (over 70 years ago)
