Mariposa

R had a meeting this morning so  I picked up grandma's Kamiya papayas and musubi from Manabu's for our lunch.   Then we dropped Penny at Aloha Dog.

After our lesson at Craig Sensei's studio, which was fun but tough, we went to the mall to mail things and pick up some tea from Lupicia.

 Decided to eat there before picking up Penny.   Now that she's bigger,  we feel badly about bringing her to restaurants, although most places are ok about it.  She always sits nicely in her bag on a chair and sleeps, but still….

It's been awhile since we've been to Mariposa.  Those fans are distinctive, although  grandma always says they make her dizzy so she has to arrange to not look at them.

It was before 5 so we ordered from their light menu.  A   tasty plate of almonds, strawberries, bleu, soft, and gouda cheeses while we waited for dinner service.      We like cheese so we ate all--I know, cholesterol, saturated fat, but it was delicious.

Penny's friend today at Aloha Dog was Manapua the Bichon frise.  So cute.
