cup of tea or coffee and the
center softens.

Santa still has time to wave
to us at Ala Moana SC
in front of Nordstroms.

Sunday.

Time for the quarter Island
drive.  Penny is happy.

Makapuu Lookout was full
of all kinds of blues.

Sandy Beach was rough and
crowded, but there were peaceful
paths to the beach.

Said hello with some flowers
to the dearly departed...

…and headed to the gorgeous
H3 Highway to Halawa.

Looking back.

The ridges of the Koolau range
were sharp in the afternoon
light.

Last stop, Liliha Bakery on
Nimitz to taste their beef stew.

And their short ribs and roast pork.
