Great performance-Beauy and the Beast

Wow.  We had gone to a couple of other New Hope stage productions so we were expecting a great show, but the final performance of Beauty and the Beast Sunday was just amazing.
It was a Disney remake of the fairytale,  but we were caught up in the stellar performances of the young actors and dancers.
The costumes, sets, props, lighting and music moved along well so there was not a dull moment.
(According to the program, all authorized performance materials were supplied by Music Theatre International)

Our sensei, Craig Shimizu, was Maurice, Belle's  father.
How fun to see him transformed into an old, dotty, white haired man!    He is so adept in comedic roles - like when he played Thenardier in the 2014 production of Les Miserables.

What an entertaining evening it was.
