Michel's, Liliha Bakery, Habitant

Tuesday at Michel's.
Waiting for the fifth of our party.

Escargots are not my favorite, but I always have one.

Tristan lobster and lamb.

My steak Diane being flamed in cognac.
Shouldn't have had the onion soup, which made me a bit full.  ( I always say this)

There were three birthdays being celebrated among us.

After a doctor's appointment on thursday morning we stopped in at the old Liliha Bakery for breakfast.
The hotcakes were as good as usual (We share a short stack)

It's a wonder we were able to resist these pastries!
Liliha Bakery has been around for so long, everyone has their favorites, like the cream puffs.

Their old style diner.

More food?
At the Ala Moana Mall, we sometimes stop for a light early dinner at Nordstrom's Habitant, a little bar alongside the escalator.

The Mediterranean Hummus is good.  And the Poke is wonderful with a finely chopped salad and chips.
And for dessert, a Japanese style shaved ice (strawberry and sweet cream) at Shirokiya--big enough to share.
