Gazen, Penny's sunspot

At Gazen yesterday,  the grilled salmon and ikura maki was good

Their version of ohagi was soo light and delicious, though I'm usually a traditionalist.  The rice was fluffed with cream and served with ice cream and an azuki sauce.

R had ume ochazuke.  It was a yaki musubi in tea with lots of nori and goma.  Very good, he said.
We don't drink much sake, but it's interesting to see all the bottles and names.

Penny's vet's receptionist gave her this glitter toothbrush .  Makes teethbrushing, which is a mini battle, more fun for the human.   It's easier to use than the finger brush in the center.

Penny found a new hang out place.
