Farmer's market

R was going to his weekly karaoke and dinner with his friend but he dropped Penny and me off at the farmer's market in Makiki on the grounds of St. Clemens church.

One of the smaller ones, but there are booths selling Hawaiian, Thai, desserts and fresh produce.  There are a few tables and chairs available also, but parking is difficult.

Our table in front of the ice cream and popcorn booths.

This time I tried the stew from the Hawaiian booth, which also had chicken long rice and pork, which I must try.  Yum.

Penny even made friends.

I had to get the apple caramel pie from one of my favorite booths, Sweet Revenge, which also has delicious chicken pot pies!

It started to rain a little so it made the walk back home nice and cool.
