Heavy rains and thunder. This morning at around 7 a.m. Beretania and Punahou was crowded because a big branch from the old banyan tree in front of the Banyan Tree Plaza had collapsed into the street and crews were chopping and removing it.
Had pancakes at the Pancake House which was cozy with the wind and rain outside the windows.

Penny was good but curious. Drove through Waikiki on the way home. |
Kuhio Beach in the rain |
Still beautiful |
Passed the Kapahulu Starbucks. I can imagine the nice coffee aromas within. Took Penny at noon to Aloha Dog to be evaluated so we can leave her in good hands at this puppy day care if we need a few hours without her Penny was shy but they introduced her first to a Westie service dog who was very calm. Then gradually they brought in about 4 others who were eager to greet the newcomer. Penny was very hesitant about meeting new dogs, but not scared so now we can drop her off whenever we need to from a whole day to just a few hours. Went for a glass of wine and a bit to eat at Tokoname. Penny was curious again but finally slept. R stayed home with Penny and I went to Central Union Church to see their performance of the Messiah. It was a beautiful gift to the public and a wonderful way to start the CHRISTmas season. |
