Craig Sensei's studio and Christmas at Hale Koa

Felt like Fendu's croissant for lunch today so headed to Manoa and had one with the mango scone and coffee.   So nice to sit outside and look at the big monkeypod trees in the parking lot.
                    

At Craig Sensei's studio, Penny was again a good girl and MiuMiu the resident cat came out to greet us.

   We enjoy our lessons with Sensei and I am constantly amazed that I can now actually sing, considering that I had no vocal background whatsoever.   He actually got me to sing on a stage at our recitals, which is quite unbelievable to those who know me.
There is enormous room for improvement yet,  so ganbarimasu!

     This evening we left Penny to play at Pets in the City and met our friends at our annual Hale Koa coffee shop Christmas dinner.  The lobby used to have a big snow scene with trains running through mountain scenery, but in the past couple of years there have been  Christmas trees dedicated to each branch of the military.

It was fun and may we have many more dinners at Hale Koa
