Kamiya papayas, Ala Moana Beach

Manabu, "the musubi place", was closed today so we settled for Fendu's goodies this morning before our voice lessons.

Hmm.  Weren't we here yesterday also?

Before going to our lessons we stopped at this store to buy the weekly Kamiya papayas for grandma.  Wednesdays and fridays are delivery days from the farm and there are usually customers waiting for the truck to arrive at 10 a.m.  This store is between Kaheka and Keeaumoku and it also sells fresh eggs and tofu.  Mrs. Owner (I think) is always in the kitchen cooking meat jun and Korean style noodles.

At Craig Sensei's Studio, Miu Miu the resident cat came out and touched noses with Penny.   Wish I had had my iphone camera ready!!
We had another great lesson.   Must practice vocalizing from the diaphragm which for me is easier said than done.  Wish my body parts would cooperate with one another.  Luckily Sensei is patient and encouraging!

We miss Panya at the Ala Moana Mall but we come here to their new location at Hokua because Penny can sit in the outdoor section.

Right?

Penny behaved like she should in an outdoor cafe, watching people and their dogs walk by.

Fish(Sea Bass) in miso sauce and tofu, and Panya style Pad  Thai.

We were too late to catch the sunset at Ala Moana Beach but that didn't bother Penny.

Ewa side was dusky..

but towards Diamond Head it was still light.

Low tide and very calm

One lighted Banyan tree
