Favorite sweatshirt, Kewalo Basin

Never bought a Rutgers sweatshirt while I was up there in New Jersey.   It was about 20 years later that I happened upon a  Scarlet Knight sweatshirt in a corner of a Ginza department store, of all places, that was selling US used goods.   I still wear the comfortable thing at home.

Go Warriors!  Go Scarlet Knights!

Put the Mediterranean Chicken dinner in the slow cooker (recipe from the newspaper's "Electric Kitchen" article) and off to do our errands.
The late afternoon sky was pretty by Punahou  school.

Stopped to gas up at Lex Brodies and the nice girl attendant gave lucky Penny a nice ear rub.

Penny needs some exercise so we tried  Kewalo Basin Park.       Many people fishing but also many homeless by the restrooms.

The pavilion was taken over by the homeless.

Good place to fish.

Slow Cooker Mediterranean Chicken was very dry.    Healthy, though,  since it only calls for red potatoes, two lemons, green onions and garlic, besides the chicken breasts.
